It is absolutely the coldest I can remember it being in Boulder. Move anything faster than a fast walk and your face freezes solid. It makes me want to hibernate in my apartment and never leave.
The last week has been full of gym workouts and riding the trainer indoors. I hate it. I play my iPod and try to dream of racing but after about 1.5 hours I begin to lose it. I do not even begin to comprehend how people do this for 3-4 hours at a time. Instead, I have been trying to mix things up....1.5 hours on the trainer, 30 min on the stair climber, lifting weights, rowing, etc. It might not make me the strongest cyclist but at least I will keep my sanity.
